Mr. Obeid R Nizam, a successful career businessman finished his graduation in Business Administration from USA in 1995 and joined ANZ Grindlays Bank in Bangladesh. After his four years career in Corporate Banking at ANZ, he joined the Board of DHS Motors Ltd. (the sole Distributor of Honda Motors in Bangladesh) as a Director where he is currently the Chairman of the Board. Besides DHS, Mr. Nizam is also a Director at Citizen Securities & Investment Ltd. and Chairman at Safe Gallery and Vice Chairman at Crossways IT Ltd.
Apart from being an extremely successful businessman, he is very actively involved in Bangladesh cricket with his active participation in various Premiere Division Cricket Clubs and Bangladesh Cricket Board. He is currently a member of the BCB advisory board and has been holding various posts over the years. He is also the General Secretary of Old DOHS Sports Club.
Khaled Mahmud Sujon, or yet, better known as “Chacha” in the Bangladesh cricket arena, is a man of many talents. A more than useful all-rounder in his playing days, Sujon was renowned for his military medium-pace and big-hitting exploits lower down the order. After his playing career was over, it was time for the diminutive former national captain to give back something to the sport that has given him almost everything. Over the intervening years, Sujon has performed a host of different roles and is now a Bangladesh Cricket Board Director and additionally has been given the resposibility of the national cricket team as Team Manager. He will always be remembered for his man of the match performance against Pakistan in the 1999 ICC World Cup in England.
Now he is work with Dhaka Dynamites as a Coach.
Mr. Azizur Rahim, a familiar face cricket official, has been actively associated with Abahani Cricket Ltd. for more than 7 years. He plays decision making role in the formation of team squad as well as monitors the overall administrative and logistic functions of the team. Under his judgmental and prudential supervision, Abahani earned envious success in the domestic Cricket Leagues in the past. He has a strong connections with the cricket community of the country and has been getting along well with the top notch cricket players and officials.
Currently working as the Member Secretary of the Tender and Purchase Standing committee of the BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) Mr. Rahim is also a vital stakeholder of the board. He portrayed leadership roles in many important events of BCB in the past including the ICC World T20 held in 2014 in Bangladesh, where he was the hospitality Manager of the Local Organizing committee (LOC).
